Don't be afraid of selective sorting 🌱

Let us guide you.

La 21ème Planche guides you in sorting your waste during your stay. We've set up a page just for you, dedicated to simplifying the rules of waste sorting. In just a few steps, you can help reduce environmental impact and preserve our beautiful region. Together, develop green tourism!

Differentiate your waste.

Sorting is a civic act. It's a simple and common action to take in your daily life and even on vacation. There are 4 main types of waste to differentiate so you can sort them more effectively during your stay. Responsible management of these types of waste reduces our impact on the environment.

Food

Food waste includes meal scraps, peelings and expired products. Compostable, it can be recycled to produce compost or renewable energy.

Other

Other waste includes non-recyclable or hazardous products, such as batteries, electronic appliances and hygiene products. Their specific treatment limits pollution and recovers valuable materials.

Recycling

Recyclable waste includes paper, plastic, metal and cardboard. Recycling them limits the extraction of new raw materials, thus reducing our ecological footprint.

Glass

Glass can be recycled ad infinitum without any loss of quality. Once collected, bottles and jars are melted down to create new, energy-saving objects.

A world of color opens up for you

We want all our tenants, whether novices or professionals, to have everything they need to sort their waste during their vacations. That's why all our homes have unlimited bags for household waste (black/brown) and recyclables (yellow). Some have bins or bags for glass.

Instructions for seeing life in green.

Do not wash your packaging. Empty them only. Remove metal caps. Metal should be disposed of in the selective sorting garbage can (yellow). If your bin is overflowing, if you have any doubts or if something is missing, please ask for our help.

Recycling

Always in yellow
Materials that can be used to make new products. This includes paper, cardboard, plastic bottles, aluminum cans and some metal packaging.

General household waste

Once you've sorted your recyclables, food and glass, you'll be left with household garbage.

Glass

Every item of waste with glass packaging must find its place in the bin for your home. No bin in your home? You can go to one of the collection points shown on the map.

Composting

Currently being deployed
Composting is a natural process that transforms organic waste into a rich, environmentally-friendly fertilizer, ideal for plants and gardens. Food scraps, peelings, coffee grounds and eggshells can be composted to create nutritious soil.

DON'T LOSE YOUR WAY

You can dispose of your rubbish at any of the collection points shown on the maps below.
